About Dev

I am now in my final year of university, studying Computer Science at the University of Manchester, on track for a first-class degree. I achieved 3A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science, and an A in Physics in my A-levels. In GCSEs, I achieved 8 x 9s and 3 x 8s.

I have a passion for STEM-related subjects and would love to share my knowledge and understanding to help other students achieve their full potential in a way that makes them enjoy the subjects rather than doing it just because they have to! I have now been tutoring for over 3 years, teaching over 10 students consistently in that time for several hours a week, giving me the experience required to teach students of all levels for their individual needs.

I have an up-to-date enhanced CRB check, and can provide references upon request

About the lesson

I teach following the student's specification, able to cover all topics with question breakdowns, full topic lessons, exam question walkthroughs and mock exam + marking sessions, available to ensure students fully understand a subject topic. Being only 21 and still a student, I understand the struggles that students face, so I can relate to the students and alter my teaching style to suit them on a case-by-case basis.

I have tutored students with ADHD, dyslexia and autism previously, so again can alter my teaching style where required to best reach a student.

My primary teaching material is fully comprehensive topic slides, which I share with students when teaching material, as well as a large bank of past exam questions with mark schemes. I hold my meetings online, using Google Meet, and use a drawing board/ whiteboard to reflect a true classroom-style lesson online.
