About Athanasios

Hi, my name is Thanos! I am a Physics teacher based in London. I graduated from a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. I have a breadth of teaching experience at all levels of Physics (KS3, GCSE, A Level), and am familiar with a range of examination curricula (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, etc.). I also have a variety of external tutoring experience, including a placement at a school in Shanghai, as well as at the University of Edinburgh, where I tutored Materials Science. University : University of Edinburgh - MEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering A Levels : - Maths - Further Maths - Physics

About the lesson

Every student has a unique learning style. Therefore, I tailor my lessons to the individual, whether they prefer practical or theoretical-based learning. I believe that problem-solving is directly related to confidence in a particular subject, and this is why I always aim to incorporate this into my lessons from the very beginning. Revision resources have proven to be a crucial tool for my students at all levels (in KS3, GCSE, A Level), so I try to use these as much as possible. Alongside scheduled lessons, I am also available on WhatsApp for questions and continued engagement with the relevant topics.
