About Nova
I am an engineering graduate with a Master’s degree in Fluid Mechanics from Imperial College London, where I graduated with Distinction, as well as a First-Class degree in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering.
My academic background is heavily based in mathematics, physics, mechanics, control systems, and problem solving, so I am comfortable explaining both the theory and the practical application of these subjects.
I have always enjoyed breaking down complex technical ideas into simpler, more intuitive explanations. My goal as a tutor is to help students become more confident, improve their problem-solving ability, and understand why methods work rather than simply memorising answers.
I am friendly, patient, and adaptable, and I tailor my teaching style to each student’s needs and pace. Whether you are aiming to improve your grades, prepare for exams, or strengthen your understanding of a difficult topic, I will work with you to build a clear and structured path forward.

My lessons are focused on helping students genuinely understand the maths and physics behind each topic, rather than simply memorising methods.
I adapt each lesson to the student’s current level, goals, and areas of difficulty. We will typically work through concepts step by step, practise targeted questions together, and then apply what we have learnt to exam-style problems.
I can help with GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics, including exam preparation, problem-solving techniques, homework support, and building confidence in difficult topics.
My engineering background means I particularly enjoy explaining maths and physics through practical, real-world examples. I aim to make challenging ideas feel logical and manageable, while also helping students develop the independent problem-solving skills needed to improve their grades.
Lessons are friendly, structured, and tailored to each student, with a strong emphasis on understanding, exam technique, and consistent progress.
