Hi! I’m a first-year university student with a real passion for helping others understand maths in a way that feels clear and encouraging. I know what it’s like to feel stuck or overwhelmed by certain topics, so I aim to make lessons relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I enjoy breaking tricky ideas down into simple steps and helping students build confidence through practice and positive guidance. My teaching approach combines step-by-step explanations, worked examples, exam-style practice, and personalised feedback to help learners truly understand concepts rather than memorise them. I typically offer 60 or 90 minute lessons (but these can be longer if needed) and have experience tutoring KS3 and GCSE students across both Foundation and Higher tiers, with a strong background in mathematics and a proven record of helping students raise grades and improve exam technique. My lessons are ideal for students aged 11–16 (GCSE) who need support with classwork, homework, revision, or exam preparation, especially those who want structured guidance and a patient, encouraging tutor to help them progress.
