About Georgia
Hi there! My name is Georgia and I am a highly experienced tutor with 4 years of teaching under my belt! I studied Chemistry, Biology and English Literature for A-Level at the Royal Latin Grammar School, and am currently in my second year of Graduate Medicine! I also have a degree in Medical Sciences (1st Class)! Comparably to other tutors with PhDs etc, my qualifications certainly seem less impressive - but therein lies my biggest strength! I offer a unique tutoring service, relying on my own (still fairly recent!) encounter with the dreaded GCSE and A-Level curriculum! Every:
-hoop to jump through (particularly within these essay subjects)
-seemingly impossible mark scheme hurdle
-question you have to unravel to seek what it's truly asking Will be tackled by you - with me as your guide.
I achieved two 9s in English at GCSE, and an A* at A-Level. Two papers from my A-Level will be used to help standardise the A* threshold for this year's markers.

I am truly invested in seeking out how you learn, in order to best cater for your experience of tutoring. I am flexible, hardworking and perhaps most importantly: a caring individual who will endeavour to help you feel proud of your progress, and eventually your results. Experience: 4 years of tutoring ages 12-17. Additional experience with catering for a range of educational needs for 3 years. Primary focus is GCSE level English (Lit & Lang), and A-level English Literature Additionally: -Especially equipped to assist in the transition between KS3 -> GCSE and GCSE -> A-Level - offering preparation sessions for what is a vast leap!
