About Rida

Hello and welcome! My name is Rida.

I’m passionate about teaching Biology and Chemistry because I believe that understanding science opens doors to a better understanding of the world around us.

As a second-year MPharm student with 5+ years of experience in teaching and the healthcare field, I specialise in helping students simplify complex topics, understand tricky concepts, and succeed in exams. I tailor my lessons to the student’s learning style and goals, making learning fun, engaging, and accessible for all.

My goal is to support you every step of the way, providing step-by-step guidance, exam-style practice, and interactive activities to help you excel. I go over exam-style questions and mark schemes to ensure you achieve the best possible results.

My method to make learning as fun and effective as possible includes a holistic approach:

- Start with the student's existing knowledge to build a strong foundation.
- Introduce key terms and explain them clearly.
- Use real-life examples to connect concepts to everyday experiences.
- Break down complex terminology into simpler language.
- Keep lessons engaging with quizzes, videos, and interactive activities.
- Encourage questions and discussions to promote critical thinking.
- Provide clear summaries for revision and exam prep.
- Set achievable goals for each session to track progress.
- Lessons last 60 minutes and are tailored to meet each student’s needs.

With 5+ years of experience in teaching, my goal is to help students succeed by making learning engaging and accessible.

Honestly speaking I think she was great. Nowadays it’s hard to find a tutor that is engaging, friendly and affordable. Rida was very patient and reassuring whilst teaching and really took the time to make sure everything was easy to understand and just had a good vibe in general.
