About Carl

Since leaving mainstream teaching six years ago I worked as a STEM tutor for a charity. My main role was to develop and provide workshops including coding, engineering, electronics and sustainability for all ages. But one task I had was to teach a Year 10 student Design and Technology for a year as his school did not have a DT specialist. This made me realise that I could use my experience to tutor other students privately. I am now working full time on my own business which includes private tutoring.

About the lesson

My online lessons are usually an hour in length but I can be adaptable. I have 25 years' experience teaching Design and Technology in Secondary schools and I have been a private tutor since March 2023. I focus on supporting GCSE Design & Technology and A level Product Design students.
