About Emily
I graduated at the University of Kent with a first class degree in Biomedical Science and have recently graduated with a Distinction in Masters level Biomedicine.
I have a strong passion for science, specifically biology and chemistry. I believe learning science should be a fun and varied process! Practicing exam style questions is the key to success, but also enjoying and knowing WHY you're learning is important!
I was also a Student Ambassador for the Division of Natural Sciences in which I have applied my teaching skills to Outreach projects and have significantly developed my teaching skills.

We begin each lesson consolidating the students primary understanding. Following this we shall go over topics that are especially challenging with the use of visual, auditory aids and we shall apply this understanding to past paper questions. Feedback shall be offered and I shall set 'outside material' which will further develop the student's understanding and confidence with the material. Microsoft PowerPoint and Wacom will be the main programmes utilised.
