About Shariqa

I’m Shariqa and I have a real passion to help students learn biology more effectively, improve their exam technique and achieve top grades. I will help you in achieving your highest possible grade in biology, whether it is a grade 9 or enough to meet your target grade. We will hold courses through Zoom or Google Meets, using a framework that works best for you. It’s important to note that I only tutor AQA because it is the exam board with which I completed my GCSEs and am most familiar with.

I will help you in achieving your highest possible grade in biology, whether it is a grade 9 or enough to meet your target grade. We will hold courses through Zoom or Google Meets, using a framework that works best for you. Step 1: Understanding the content First, we'll focus on developing a thorough comprehension of a subject. I'll utilise real-world examples (the kinds that may appear on the test) to put what you're learning into context. Some students find it beneficial to explain things back to me so that we can determine what you have and haven't grasped. You are free to ask as many questions as you like! Step 2: Knowing the Mark Scheme We will then discuss the points you should include in your answer to gain marks (because we all know biology marks are specific). I have analysed all the past papers and mark schemes and discovered all the patterns! As a result, you won't need to memorise all the waffle in your textbooks. You will have concise notes based on the specification. Step 3: Perfecting the Exam Technique Finally, we’ll work on refining your exam technique. I'll teach you how to understand the question in such a manner that you can figure out precisely what the examiner is looking for, and we can work on tricky questions like analysing graphs and evaluating trends. We can also put together a booklet of exam questions that you found difficult over time so that you can tackle it at the end of the year. I can also provide you with some past paper questions to practise on your own time.
