About Simon
I have lived and worked in the UK, Ireland, the Middle East and Africa. In the current climate an informed approach to Religious Studies & Worldviews has never been more urgent. RE should force us to confront our misconceptions and prejudice.
Religious Studies is the most tantalising topic because it poses the questions that have teased the human mind since the dawn of time: why am I here; is there a purpose to life; and if there isn't can I still find or inject meaning into my existence?

Caring and respectful first and foremost; I want to spike your intellectual curiosity. My educational philosophy is to teach students to appreciate that there are multiple truths out there in the global supermarket of ideas.
In the context of my specialism, religious studies, this means learning to argue for and against a proposition and arrive at a justified conclusion. You do not have to "believe" in the positions you present; rather it is the methodological approach of structured, critical thinking that I will teach you to master.
