About Zak
I am a second-year student currently studying Chemistry (Mchem) at the University of Sheffield. At GCSE and A-level I achieved an A grade (finished 2019). Throughout my A levels I kept in mind the 4 P's (Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance!), a saying that helped me achieve my goals. I hope to help in as many ways as I can to get you the best grade that you deserve!

I cater my classes to my tutee's needs, Chemistry tests the breadth and depth of the student's knowledge so the best way to score highly is to understand where your strengths and weaknesses are. At the beginning of our tutor sessions, I'd want to go over key topics that you have covered so that we can see how best to improve/ develop your knowledge. From there, we'll draft up a study plan for the weeks ahead and attack the weaker sections head-on whilst integrating topics that you are stronger in - this method helps keep studying enjoyable and productive.
I am currently a PAL (Peer-Assisted Learning) leader in which I help teach first-year students core Chemistry content
