About Kirsten
Hello! My name’s Kirsten and I’m currently on a gap year until I go to Aberystwyth University to study Psychology in September 2026. I’m passionate about tutoring as I love working with students and helping them achieve their biggest goals. Seeing their satisfaction and enthusiasm means everything to me! While I’m not a fully qualified teacher, I am an A-Level graduate that performed extremely well during sixth form, consistently getting As in A-Level English Language, additionally achieving an 8 in GCSE English Language. I’ve been tutoring for 3 years, 1 of which has been professionally. This has consisted of working with students from all demographics and knowledge levels. I’ve gotten students from grade Us to passes, As to A*s, and stress to success.

A typical lesson with me will either be online or in person at a quiet and suitable public area, like a café or library. We’ll start out by reflecting on our chosen goals and homework given to you in the previous lesson. Then, we’ll go into the main section of the lesson: the discussion. This is where I’ll teach you all about the specific topic of the lesson, then you’ll be assessed on what you’ve just learnt. Finally, we’ll reflect on the lesson and you’ll be sent home with a small task to complete before our next session together!
