About Haïlée
I am a gap year student who's just finished her A-Levels in Maths (predicted A*), Further Maths (predicted A), Computer Science (predicted A*) and French (predicted A*). I received almost straight 9s in my 12 GCSEs and I've had previous experience tutoring GCSE-level students in both Maths and French. I also have experience working with younger children (aged 4-11). I am a native French, English, Russian and Portuguese speaker.

The most important aspect of maths tutoring to me is to ensure the student is confident in knowing the basics and they're able to understand and go through the problem solving process themselves. Being a student myself, I know that boring lectures aren't the best way to teach and always aim to make my sessions interesting and interactive.
In my sessions I will work through a topic a student is struggling with from the very basic start to finish so that the student is fully confident in every aspect of it. I will bring some of my own maths problems to lessons which will test and solidify the student's knowledge as well as allow them to apply it.
I'm also able to offer tips for exam technique, time management and general revision. If the student has time or their parents would like me to I am happy to assign homework.
