As a tutor, my approach is patient, supportive, and hands-on. I guide students step by step through coding and game design in Unity, always making sure they feel comfortable before moving forward. A typical lesson starts with a quick recap, then introduces one or two new concepts through slides, short code examples, and interactive challenges. What sets me apart is that I provide full slide decks, mini-projects, and complete code solutions so students can keep learning even between lessons. My lessons are ideal for beginners, hobbyists, or students curious about programming and game development, with no prior experience required. Together, we’ll learn at your pace and make game creation fun and approachable!

I've worked with Nathan on multiple game jams over the years. His technical skills are strong and he has an eye for drawing out the creative potential that Unity provides. I would easily recommend him as a teacher to anyone looking to learn Unity.
Nathan is a long time friend of mine, and I can say with confidence that he is an outstanding, understanding teacher. He is patient and explains things clearly, making even difficult concepts easy to grasp. And of course, he is an excellent developer and knows Unity inside and out. I believe anyone trying to improve in Unity would benefit from his teaching.
I've known Nathan for almost 10 years know and he has always been entusiastic about video game development. He is a great and charismatic teacher. Also, very detailed in his explanations and examples.
It took him only a few days to teach me how to make some basic 2d/3d hybrid platformers in Unreal! When crossed with a challenge or problem, Nathan has no problem in breaking it down and figuring out possible solutions. He also provides a lot of fun during his work, with an endless supply of creativity and ideas. Definitely ask about all his projects and ideas, there's a bunch!
I would highly recommend learning any game development engine/software from Nathan!I’ve known Nathan for a while through his work in game development. He’s not just talented with Unity and programming, but also very approachable and patient when explaining things.
Nathan has a teaching style that’s step-by-step and beginner-friendly. He makes sure you really understand the basics before moving on, which gives you confidence to try things on your own. He’s also great at making lessons fun—turning small projects into chances to learn something new without it feeling overwhelming.
I remember when he walked me through a simple Unity project with game objects and colliders. What seemed confusing at first suddenly became clear because of the way he explained and showed each step.
I highly recommend Nathan to anyone curious about game development. Whether you’re a student or just exploring as a hobby, you’ll feel supported and motivated learning with him.View more recommendations
