About Janae
I have been an auntie since I was 5 years old, so I've always had a little one to take care of. My love for teaching began with my niece, my nephew (who soon followed after her), and my youngest niece. I have been tutoring my younger cousin virtually for 2 years now, and I enjoy my work. Ever since I was a little girl, I've been very passionate about problem-solving, and during the summer of 2022, I had the honor of becoming the first high-school intern in the innovation factory at the University of Georgia, UGA. During my internship, I created a demonstration to show middle-school-aged children what working as a software engineer would be like. I've been a volunteer tutor for a year now, and I am eager to meet and tutor students on my own.

As a college freshman, I like to take a youthful approach to teaching. I love to incorporate music and rhymes into lessons because everyone deserves to connect to the material they are learning. I am very flexible, so scheduling will not be an issue. I specialize in elementary-middle school education, but high school freshmen are welcome!
