I am a certified teaching assistant and an Early Childhood and Childhood Education major with a concentration in English, dedicated to helping elementary students build strong skills in reading, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing. With hands-on classroom experience, I create engaging and personalized lessons that make learning enjoyable while supporting each child’s unique needs. Above all, I am passionate about inspiring a lifelong love of reading and empowering every student to succeed.

As a certified teaching assistant and future early childhood and childhood educator, I believe every child learns best when lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to their individual needs. I focus on building confidence while developing core literacy skills like reading, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing. I use multi-sensory learning using visuals, games, and hands-on activities to make reading fun. I like to break tasks into small, manageable steps so children feel successful. Each lesson is adjusted to fit the child’s learning style and pace. I encourage mistakes as part of learning and celebrate progress. A Typical Lesson Plan would include a warm-up, phonics/vocabulary review focused on a sound, word family, or new words. Reading practice, reading a passage together, practicing fluency, and asking comprehension questions. Writing words, sentences, or a short response connected to the reading. Closing with a fun review game or recap to reinforce the day’s lesson. I am a certified teaching assistant. I have a strong passion for early childhood education and literacy. I am patient and supportive, making students feel confident. Passion for helping children not only learn to read but also love reading. My lessons are for elementary school students (K–5). Children learning to read for the first time. Students who need support with reading comprehension and fluency. Learners who need extra practice in writing, vocabulary, or spelling. Bilingual students learning English as a second language. (I am fluent in Spanish.)
