About Gideon

My name is INYANG GIDEON, and I am a graduate of Science Laboratory Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), as well as a professionally certified member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT). Alongside my passion for scientific analysis and research, I am a dedicated church pianist and keyboardist, which has instilled in me a deep sense of patience, discipline, and creative communication. I want to teach because I believe that every child has the potential to excel in the sciences if they are guided with the right approach. Many students develop a fear of subjects like Mathematics and Biology simply because of rigid classroom methods. Having survived and succeeded in a rigorous technical university like FUTO, I want to use my knowledge to simplify these subjects, demystify the sciences, and help the next generation of students build solid academic confidence. For me, tutoring is not just about passing exams, it is about inspiring a genuine curiosity and love for learning in my students.

About the lesson

As a Science Laboratory Technology graduate from FUTO and a professionally certified member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT), I do not believe in making science boring or difficult. My approach is practical, patient, and highly interactive.Because of my industrial laboratory background, I don't just ask students to memorize textbook definitions. Instead, I break down complex Biology and Basic Science topics using real-world examples, diagrams, and practical analogies that they can see and relate to around them.Every student learns at a different pace, so my first step is always to understand the student's unique learning style and identify their specific academic weak spots. I design a tailored, step-by-step learning plan that builds their confidence, encourages them to ask questions, and prepares them thoroughly for their school promotional exams, WAEC, or JAMB.Additionally, as a church musician and pianist, I bring a high level of patience, discipline, and creative rhythm to my teaching methods, making learning an enjoyable and stress-free experience for your child.
