About Katie
I am a multi instrumentalist living in Liverpool, specialising in hip hop style flute. You may have seen me busking in the streets of Liverpool, and I love a good jam session! I want to be able to teach people that the flute is so much more than just a classical instrument.

I grew up learning only classical music and grade pieces on Flute, and after passing Grade 8 decided that I wanted to play different styles and learn how to improvise and jam to all different genres. I can teach a wide range of skills from scales, passing exams and music theory to how to improvise and play different styles such as hip hop, trap, funk, blues and soul.
