About Rose
Hi! I'm Rose, a native Mandarin speaker fluent in English. I have experience assisting Mandarin classes and previously taught Mandarin online through a language club.
Having lived in Canada for 10 years, I enjoy exploring different cultures and sharing my own. I would love to help you discover the fascinating world behind Mandarin — from Chinese culture and traditions to C-dramas, internet memes, and modern Chinese online communities.

My lessons are designed for beginner to intermediate learners, especially those who want to learn Mandarin as a hobby or prepare for traveling.
I’m not a fan of boring grammar rules or endless memorization. Instead, I prefer helping students understand the patterns of the language and explore the stories and origins behind Chinese characters and expressions.
My lessons are flexible and personalized. I like to prepare materials based on each student’s interests, goals, and learning style.
