Hi! I’m Nelson, a dedicated and energetic 22-year-old English educator committed to helping students unlock their full potential. I understand that a pre-schooler learning phonics has vastly different needs than a high schooler prepping for university exams. Because of this, I meticulously tailor my curriculum to ensure every student feels seen, heard, and challenged at the right level. I pride myself on my punctuality, clear communication, and the structured environment I provide—especially during my intensive 3-hour deep-dive sessions.

About the lesson

I believe language is a tool, not just a subject. My classes follow a structured but flexible flow:

Active Engagement: I use the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method. Instead of just lecturing, I get students speaking from minute one through roleplay, debates, or storytelling.

Hour 1: The Build-Up. Warm-up conversation, reviewing previous concepts, and introducing the "Core Theme" of the day.

Hour 2: The Deep Dive. Focus on "heavy" lifting—intensive writing, grammar structures, or reading comprehension.

Break: A 10-15 minute "brain break" to stretch and reset.

Hour 3: The Application. Putting it all together through creative projects, speaking drills, or exam-style practice.

Track Record: I have navigating different curricula, from phonics for early learners to analytical essay writing for seniors.

I specialize in the full developmental spectrum of English learners:

Pre-schoolers (Ages 3-5): Building "Word-Confidence" through phonics, songs, and visual play.

Primary/Elementary (Ages 6-11): Transitioning from speaking to structured reading and creative storytelling.
