About Emma

A bit about me!
My name is Emma Pardo, I am a Spanish student currently on Erasmus in Sheffield. I am in my fourth year of a dual honour degree in English and Spanish Studies at the prestigious university of Cádiz, where I received distinction in six of my modules and a total average of 8,8 out of 10. My degree involves a deep learnig of both Spanish and English phonetics, syntax, grammar, etc, so I'll have it easy to identify your main challenges and be able to help you solve them! Besides, I consider myself a very friendly and sociable young person and I have had experience tutoring a wide range of students before, so I'll make sure you feel comfortable and have an enjoyable moment while effectively learning Spanish!

About the lesson

¡Hola!
Are you interested in learning Spanish in a friendly environment? Either if it's for fun, for exams or just to know the basics before your holidays to sunny Spain, the best way to learn a language is always with a native speaker!

All ages and levels are welcome and I can easily adapt to your needs. I am free from 1st May and during summer and I am very flexible with days and hours. I live near the city centre of Sheffield and would ideally agree with you on a meeting point nearby, although I have no problem giving home-based lessons if required!

I provide one-to-one or small group classes. Prices vary, usually from £10 to £15 per hour, depending on travel expenses, preparation material, etc. Small group classes are offered a reduced price per student.

I can provide you with conversational lessons and help with grammar, reading or listening in a fun and effective way. I can also correct your activities and writings, do pronunciation activities with you, or anything that can help you learn this amazing language! I can also adapt to children organising fun games and activities.

Still not sure? GIVE IT A GO FOR ONLY £7! First meeting is 45 mins, so we can get to know each other, do some activities to see your level... In this introductory session I will also answer any question and explain my methodology better, so you can take your final decision - without any commitments! And don't panick if your Spanish is not conversational, I also speak fluent English!
