About Aishah

I am a UK-qualified teacher (PGCE with QTS) with experience teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I love helping children build confidence and enjoy learning, especially when it comes to reading and writing. I want to teach because I truly enjoy supporting each child to reach their potential and making lessons fun, engaging, and tailored to how they learn best. Seeing children grow, develop new skills, and feel proud of their achievements is what inspires me every day. I have worked with children from many different backgrounds, and I always make sure lessons are interactive, hands-on, and suited to each student’s needs, with extra support provided whenever it’s needed.

About the lesson

My lessons are highly engaging, interactive, and carefully structured to meet the individual needs of each child. I use a wide range of games, practical activities, and online interactive tools to maintain motivation and support active learning. Children are encouraged to work independently using resources from their own environment, including writing tasks completed from their end to promote ownership, confidence, and independence.

All lessons are tailored to the individual learner, beginning with a baseline assessment to identify strengths, gaps, and next steps. From this, clear objectives are set and aligned with the National Curriculum, ensuring structured progression and measurable outcomes. Lessons are adapted in real time to suit different learning styles, abilities, and pace.

I place strong emphasis on early reading and writing, particularly within KS1, while also delivering engaging and well-scaffolded lessons across KS2. Regular feedback is provided to parents, outlining progress, areas for development, and next steps, ensuring strong communication and partnership.

In addition to live teaching sessions, additional work, resources, and targeted support are provided outside of lessons to reinforce learning and support continued progress.
