About Aliyah
My name is Aliyah, I am a fully qualified secondary science teacher. I have a genuine love for science, and want to share my enthusiasm with all of you!
When people think of this subject they usually think of it being a boring or a difficult subject, but that is simply not the case! Science is all around us and shape our entire universe!
Science has helped us put a man on the moon and helped us explore our deepest oceans. Thanks to science you now have, digital clocks, planes, trains, toothpaste, medicine, skyscrapers and a smartphone to play Roblox on all day long.
Now you know why science are so important! So come along and learn all about these amazing subjects. And who knows, maybe one day it'll be you inventing the world's best ever development.

My preferred set up for a tutor lesson is as follows.
1) You tell me the topic you'd most like to focus on (preferably before the lesson). This can be the current topic you're studying at school or just the ones you believe you need most help with. Alternatively, I can pick the topics myself based on your age group and level.
2) Start with a mini quiz to see how much you already know. (Informal/ no pressure)
3) Spend some time going over the definition and worked examples of different levels.
4) Work through some worksheets/ exam style questions and some quick fire questions.
5) Once the topic has been completed another mini quiz will be set, similar to the first, to see how much you've improved!
My typical length of a lesson is 1 hour long.
My main topics are science and maths.
I work mainly with ks3 and ks4
Every child is different and learns in different way, therefore I too mould and adapt my teaching and lesson plans around each individual student.
