About Lauren
I am a fully qualified teacher, in both English speaking and Irish speaking primary schools. I have helped countless students with the 11+ exam preparation.

My main objective from any lesson is for the student to feel confident within their ability, and for them to finish their lesson feeling fulfilled.
All levels of the language are welcome and I will adapt all my lessons to cater for each pupils individual needs.
I have adopted a ‘modern’ approach to teaching English. I think it is especially important to focus on what the student is particularly interested in and work from there.
For example, if a student loves sport I will use a video clip of a football game. The student will be listening to the language being spoken, then we will discuss the clip. Following this, we will read/write the text and talk about grammar points.
In my opinion, there are four main skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Couldn't recommend Lauren enough., my daughter is a 2nd Yr student who was struggling in this subject I can see such a difference in her approach to irish already.
