About Eilidh
I'm a very positive individual with a huge passion for teaching and education. I believe that children should enjoy their learning experiences and make it as engaging as possible. As well as my passion for literacy, I really enjoy using physical objects and the use of online resources to teach numeracy and maths. Outwith teaching, I enjoy reading books and attend a lot of seminars surrounding the promotion of literacy within education. I play cricket in my spare time and enjoy playing with my team. This has made me a very easy-going person who communicates well with everyone I encounter. I also love to cook and I enjoy hosting for large group of friends and family - this has made me highly organised and motivated to please the people around me.

I promote child-led learning and take into account how children learn best. I assess where I believe children are working at based on conversations with their parent/guardian and how I see the child working. I am a huge believer in positive praise and want children to celebrate any amount of progress they make. I have been a primary school teacher for 2 years and my lessons can be catered and adapted for children ages 5-12.
