About Sally

Hello and thank you for reading! I provide General English, Business English, and Exam preparation classes which are carefully adapted for your needs and circumstances. I provide every client with their own learning plan. Each course is flexible to your needs and level. The lessons contain regular review with optional homework and self-study options, to ensure learning and knowledge is accrued thoroughly. I use a range of resources to make learning enjoyable, engaging and memorable (role plays, videos, images, exercises, games, test practice, news articles etc). I have taught adults of all levels from all over the world, and have accumulated thousands of hours of online teaching experience and over 13 years of classroom teaching experience. I hope to hear from you and look forward to working with you to achieve your language goals. Sally

Qualifications: MA.(Linguistics with TESOL). PGCE (Adult Education) Cert.Tefl CELTA. BA. (Social and Cultural Studies) TEFL(Q) Diploma qualified QTLS status (formerly IFL, UK)

About the lesson

> Lesson duration and format: Lessons are 30 minutes or 60 minutes > Lesson content: Lessons are bespoke and individually planned for each learner. All lessons contain a mixture of skills (Speaking, Writing, Listening, Reading) and language (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation). Activities aim to provide maximum practice so confidence and fluency is improved. Attention is given to accuracy and regular correction is provided. Feedback is given after each activity and throughout the course so progress can be checked and reassessed. Materials are varied (audio, visual, text) and provided by the tutor. Home study tasks are optional. The aim of the lessons is to improve communicative competence. Simulation (role play) activities and lots of practice with the guidance of the tutor will achieve fast progress but in an enjoyable, stress-free environment. Patient and experienced tuition will guide the learners and give the tools to reach their best potential.
