About Carolynn
My name is Carolynn and I am a passionate and experienced teacher from Canada. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and in Education, and TESL qualifications.
My skills as an online teacher are advanced. I have students who have been learning with me for 2-3 years, making amazing progress. Many of my students have graduated from my online program as fluent English conversationalists, proven through their fluency scores. For example, many students have advanced from beginner to upper intermediate, and others from elementary to proficient, in speaking, listening, and reading.
I have a sincere and dedicated style as a teacher. I come prepared with lessons that keep you interested from beginning to end. You will have fun, remain engaged in the activities and conversation, and be challenged. I always look forward to these lessons, and my excitement to teach is obvious!

Throughout my seven years as a BEd-qualified teacher and TESL-qualified tutor, my techniques have been developed through experience, in collaboration with other amazing teachers, and with input from many students.
Lessons are a perfect mix of laying the foundation through various activities and exercises, providing applicable examples, and of course practice, practice, practicing through conversation; real-world, interesting, and useful conversation, which you will go out and use in your day-to-day life.
I use many online resources, and always keep lessons lively and engaging. Never a boring moment!
You will be surprised how fast you advance, and how quickly you gain confidence in your conversation skills!
My lessons are for learners of all ages. I am experienced with young learners to adult learners, and from beginners to advanced.
Lessons are typically .5 - 1 hour in length, and activities for students to practice on their own time are included, if desired.
