About Layla
I am a qualified English teacher with a PGCE and QTS, having previously graduated with a first-class degree in English. I currently work as a secondary school teacher, where I enjoy supporting students academically while helping them develop confidence in their abilities.
I chose teaching because I am passionate about English and genuinely enjoy helping young people discover their own strengths. I find it incredibly rewarding to see students overcome challenges, make progress and begin to believe in themselves. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions, developing their skills and achieving their potential.

I am a fully qualified English teacher with a first-class degree in English, and I am passionate about helping students build their confidence and reach their full potential. I take a friendly, patient and personalised approach, adapting lessons to suit each student’s individual needs. Whether they need support with reading, writing, grammar, essay skills or exam preparation, I aim to make learning engaging and enjoyable. I want every student to feel confident in their abilities and proud of their progress.
