About Thea
I am Thea, I live in the south of Edinburgh with my husband and dog. I grew up in Aberdeenshire and studied music with education at the University of Aberdeen. I have taught music in secondary schools for 8 years and private piano pupils for the last 15. I am a personable, patient and empathetic person who loves music and inspiring others to do so.

I have a calm child-centred approach, adapting my teaching methods for all. I always try to make my lessons as fun as possible choosing material that suits and motivates the student. I have experience with all ages and abilities. I also have experience teaching those with ASN needs.
