About Hannah
I’m a dedicated 5th grade teacher and former preschool teacher with years of experience helping children of all ages learn and grow. As both an educator and a mom of three (ages 11, 8, and 2), I understand the patience, encouragement, and creativity it takes to help students succeed. My background allows me to connect with learners on a personal level while maintaining the professionalism and structure needed for real progress. Parents can trust that I provide a safe, supportive learning environment where every student is valued, challenged, and motivated to reach their full potential.

As a current 5th grade teacher, I bring patience, structure, and creativity into every tutoring session. My teaching method focuses on meeting each student where they are, building confidence through step-by-step instruction, and using engaging activities that make learning enjoyable. I adapt my techniques to each learner’s needs—whether that means hands-on practice, guided reading, vocabulary games, or writing prompts that spark imagination.
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up to review previous material, followed by focused instruction on the day’s skill. We then move into interactive practice, where students apply what they’ve learned through reading comprehension exercises, writing tasks, or grammar activities. I close each session with a quick recap and strategies the student can practice independently before our next meeting.
What sets me apart is my experience working daily with elementary students, understanding how to explain concepts in simple, relatable terms while keeping sessions upbeat and motivating. My lessons are designed for elementary and middle school students, English learners, and anyone who needs extra support in reading, writing, grammar, or speaking. I specialize in helping students strengthen their foundational skills so they can succeed with confidence in the classroom and beyond.
