About Ching ying
I’m from Taiwan, 26 years old, currently on a working holiday in Australia. It’s been eye-opening to realize that the language I’ve spoken all my life can actually be something others are curious about and excited to learn. That makes sharing it feel really meaningful to me. I’ve always been particular about pronunciation and clear speaking. Back in Taiwan, I had experience in hosting, singing performances, and working with young children. We’ll start by learning Zhuyin — getting familiar with the symbols, writing them by hand, and practicing pronunciation.
Each lesson will also include some simple Chinese conversation.
The focus is on building comfort with Mandarin sounds.
Once you’re confident with Zhuyin, we’ll move on to combining sounds (phonics), expanding your vocabulary, and learning basic grammar and sentence patterns.
