About Nongcebo
Hi! I’m Nongcebo Mathonsi, a first-year BCom Accounting Sciences student (CA Stream) at the University of Pretoria. I completed my matric at Anton Lembede MST Academy, a school recognised for its outstanding academic performance nationally, and I achieved a 90% final mark for Accounting. I was also recognised as one of the Top Achievers at the University of Pretoria.
I have an undeniable passion for Accounting because, to me, it simply makes sense. I believe Accounting is not “rocket science”, it is a reflection of what happens in the business world and even in our everyday financial lives. I want to share this perspective with high school learners by making Accounting easier to understand, relatable and enjoyable. My goal is not only to help learners improve their marks, but also to build their confidence and help them genuinely understand the subject.

My lessons are designed specifically for high school learners who want to understand Accounting and improve their marks. I use a simple, patient and step-by-step approach, breaking down difficult concepts into easy-to-understand explanations. Lessons include practical examples, guided questions, exam preparation and personalised support based on each learner’s needs. My goal is to help learners build confidence, understand the “why” behind Accounting and become independent problem-solvers.
