Hi! I’m a first-year college student majoring in Elementary Education and passionate about helping young learners grow. One of my favorite subjects is history—I love the stories, lessons, and connections we can make to the world today. With 3 years of tutoring experience, I focus on making history fun, relatable, and engaging for students in grades 3–8. Hi! I’m a college student majoring in Elementary Education, and I’ve spent the last 3 years tutoring students in grades 3 through 8—with a special passion for history. I believe history isn’t just about dates and facts; it’s about stories, people, and connections that shape our world today.
My Teaching Method: I use a story-based and interactive approach to bring historical events to life. My sessions are designed to be engaging and student-centered, using timelines, primary sources, visuals, maps, and thought-provoking questions to help students understand not just what happened, but why it mattered.
A Typical Lesson Includes:
A short review or warm-up activity
Introduction to a new topic through a story or visual aid
Guided exploration using maps, videos, or documents
Discussion and reflection to deepen understanding
A wrap-up activity like a mini quiz, creative task, or summary
