About Ivano

I am Ivano, a Senior Risk Officer based in Luxembourg, where I manage risk for Private Equity and alternative investment funds. I hold the FRM certification and I am currently a CFA Level III Candidate, having already passed Levels I and II.
My career spans experience at EY, BNP Paribas, and a leading Alternative Investment Fund Manager in Luxembourg, where I work daily on market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and regulatory compliance across multiple fund strategies including Private Equity, Real Assets, and Fund of Funds.
I am originally from Italy, fluent in English and Italian, with working knowledge of French. I understand the challenges of studying for demanding professional certifications while working full time — because I am doing exactly that right now.
My goal as a tutor is simple: help you pass your exam as efficiently as possible, using the knowledge and experience I have built through years of working in finance at an international level.

About the lesson

I offer practical and personalised sessions for CFA and FRM candidates who want to pass their exam, not just study theory. My lessons are built around your specific weaknesses and the topics that matter most for the exam.
Each session starts with a quick assessment of where you stand, then we focus exclusively on what will move the needle for your score. I explain every concept using real-world examples from my daily work in risk management in Luxembourg , this makes abstract financial theory concrete and easier to remember.
Sessions are conducted online via Zoom or Teams, with scheduling flexibility designed for working professionals. Whether you are preparing for CFA Level I, Level II, or FRM Part I and Part II, I will help you build a structured study plan and work through the most challenging topics efficiently.
I have passed CFA Level I and II myself and hold the FRM certification, I know exactly what the examiners are looking for and how to prepare effectively under time pressure.
