About Josi
Hi! My name is Josi, and I'm a 16-year-old student who enjoys helping others learn. I'm proud to be Hispanic and Dominican, and I believe learning should be fun, encouraging, and stress-free. My favorite color is purple, and I love pasta!
I enjoy English, especially spelling, reading, and writing, and I love helping younger students build their confidence. Since I'm a student myself, I understand that everyone learns at their own pace, so I'm always patient, supportive, and happy to explain things in different ways.
My goal is to help students improve their English skills while making every lesson enjoyable and helping them feel more confident in themselves.

Hi! My name is Josi, and I'm a friendly, patient 16-year-old English tutor who enjoys helping students improve their spelling, reading, grammar, and writing skills.
My lessons are designed for younger students or anyone who wants extra support with basic English. I explain things in a simple, easy-to-understand way and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions. I believe learning should be encouraging, interactive, and tailored to each student's pace.
A typical lesson includes reviewing previous work, practicing spelling and grammar, reading together, and completing fun activities or exercises to build confidence. I also help with homework, test preparation, and improving writing skills when needed.
What sets me apart is that I understand the challenges students face because I'm a student too. I create a relaxed, supportive environment where students can learn without feeling pressured, and I focus on helping them build confidence as well as stronger English skills.
