About Taha

Hi, I’m Taha! I’m a friendly, patient and approachable student who genuinely enjoys helping others understand things and become confident in themselves. I recently completed my A-level equivalent qualifications in Psychology, Law, and Criminology and am now preparing to study Psychology at university.

Throughout my own education, I’ve developed a strong interest in subjects involving writing, analysis, and understanding different perspectives. I achieved grade 8s in English literature and language, Religious Studies, and Sociology at GCSE. My recent studies have also allowed me to further strengthen my essay writing, critical thinking, and analysis skills.

I want to tutor because I know how much of a difference it can make when someone takes the time to explain something in a way suited to your understanding. I remember that feeling of struggling with something and then finally having it click, and I’d love to be able to give that experience to other students.

I’m particularly passionate about helping students who lack confidence in their abilities. I believe that every student is capable of making progress with the right encouragement, patience and support, and I want my lessons to be somewhere students feel comfortable asking questions without feeling judged.

About the lesson

I offer friendly and personalised lessons tailored towards each student's individual needs, abilities, and goals. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment, free from judgement, where students feel comfortable learning and building their confidence.

For primary students, I can provide support with English, reading, writing, spelling, grammar, primary-level maths and general homework.

For GCSE students, I offer support with English, Religious Studies, and Sociology, including understanding content, analysis skills, structuring answers, revision, and exam techniques.

As a recent student myself, I understand how overwhelming schoolwork and exams can feel. Rather than simply giving students answers, I focus on breaking difficult concepts down into manageable steps and helping them develop the skills and confidence to work independently.

Lessons can be adapted based on what the student needs - whether that’s working through a particular topic, preparing for an upcoming exam, improving their written answers or simply getting some extra practice.
