About Tom
I'm a student in the 2nd year of my A-level studies at City of Norwich School doing Maths, Further maths and computer science. I have a huge passion for maths and am very enthusiastic - I would love to share some of my knowledge with anyone that wants to learn. Academically, I am an A/A* grade student, but my skill, knowledge and interest go much deeper than that and I spend lots of my free time researching and exploring new, bizarre or higher-level maths. Personally, I don't believe that finding maths unintuitive or difficult should be a barrier to enjoying such a diverse and enriching subject and I would love anyone I teach to not only come out of the sessions with more knowledge but also with a greater understanding of who they are as a mathematician.

Lessons would mainly be online although if possible in person could be arranged as well. Lessons would vary in length from around 1 to 2 hours depending on the student and their needs
(again, this can be negotiated). Lesson plans would be student led and could range from a revision session, to a key concept recap or even the student bringing a problem they found hard for us to work on.
Since I am in the second year of my A-level courses, I can teach any level up to GCSE's comfortably and in most cases year 12 study (the exact contents of courses varies from place to place so there may be stuff I have to read about in my own time). I may also struggle with anything below year 7 level as I do not have experience working with children although the only requirement for my sessions is an interest or desire to learn.
