About Meena Devi

Hi, I'm M S Meena Devi, I recently completed my 12th grade and I'm passionate about teaching and helping students understand concepts clearly rather than just memorizing them. Throughout school, I was always the one my classmates came to for help before exams, and I realized I genuinely enjoy breaking down difficult topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations.
I believe every student learns differently, so I focus on identifying where a student is struggling and adjusting my teaching style to match their pace. I'm patient, approachable, and committed to making learning less stressful and more engaging.
I'm looking to start my tutoring journey by helping school-level students build a strong foundation in [subjects you're confident in — e.g., Math, Physics, English], while also guiding them with study techniques and exam preparation based on what worked for me.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach
My teaching method is simple and student-focused. I first try to understand what the student already knows and where exactly they're struggling, instead of just starting from scratch. Then I explain the concept using simple, real-life examples before going into the technical definition, so it's easier to relate to and remember.
I always explain the "why" behind a concept, not just the steps, because that helps students actually understand instead of memorizing. For subjects like Maths or Science, I first solve one example step-by-step on the board, then give a similar question for the student to try themselves, and correct their mistakes right there.

Quick revision or check of what the student remembers
Explaining the new concept with an example
Step-by-step solving (for numerical subjects)
Practice question for the student
Doubt clearing
Short recap at the end of class

My Special Features
I keep the class interactive by asking questions instead of just lecturing
I adjust my speed and language based on how fast the student is grasping things
I give extra practice questions if needed and explain the same topic in a different way if the first explanation doesn't work
I'm patient and don't move to the next topic until the student is comfortable

Who I Teach
I mainly teach school-level students (up to 10th/12th), as I recently completed my 12th and understand the syllabus and exam pattern well.
