About Pria
I am a friendly, warm and enthusiastic person , with a strong belief in creating a safe and exciting work environment to help students achieve their full potential.
I like to have an initial meeting to address the student`s specific needs, discuss their goals, and to see how to make the tutoring experience the most worthwhile it can be.
I offer tutoring sessions in physics and mathematics up to A-level, and core sciences up to GCSE level.
I also offer coaching for the Oxbridge application, including personal statement help, interview technique and the Oxford PAT (Physics Aptitude Test).
I currently am an undergraduate student of Geophysics at University of Bristol. I previously studied Physics and Philosophy at The University of Oxford. I am originally from Essex and studied my A-levels at Westcliff High School For Girls, where I was awarded grades A*AA in physics, mathematics and further mathematics respectively. I also studied chemistry at AS-level (grade B).

My teaching approach is dynamic and changes based on each individual student's needs. In my experience, some students need a gentle nudge to get going, while others need more detailed guidance to give them the confidence to succeed. All of this is taken into account during my teaching in order to give each student the capacity to make the most academic progress and to gain the most confidence. Maths and sciences can be very daunting subjects for some students, but I often find this may be down to lack of confidence or uninspiring teaching. I like to show my students that maths and science can be fascinating and exciting (and incredibly useful!) by suggesting different ways to approach the subjects.

Pria tutored me for a first year undergraduate maths exam, and helped me to achieve a first class mark. She is a very warm and patient teacher with a knack for explaining tricky concepts in a simple way. I would highly recommend her as a tutor!
