About Ritika Dharwani

I teach math to primary and middle school students through home tuitions, and what I enjoy most is helping a child move from "I don't get it" to solving problems with real confidence. For me, math isn't about memorizing formulas — it's about understanding why something works.

I'm also in the final stage of becoming a Company Secretary and completing my final year of law — both demand precision, logic, and structured problem-solving, which shapes how I teach and explain concepts too.

Every child learns differently, so I adapt my approach to what works best for them, and I keep parents updated on progress along the way.

About the lesson

Math clicks when someone takes the time to show why it works, not just how. That's what I focus on — breaking a topic down until it makes sense, then building the child's confidence to solve problems on their own.

I've been teaching math to primary and middle school students through home tuitions, and I've seen firsthand how much a child's confidence improves once the basics are truly solid — not memorized, but understood. I work on strengthening those fundamentals first, then build up problem-solving speed and accuracy through regular practice.

Alongside this, I'm a Company Secretary professional (final stage) and a final-year law student, so my own academic background is built on strong fundamentals in numbers, logic, and precise problem-solving — accounting, costing, financial calculations, and legal reasoning are part of my everyday work. That discipline carries directly into how I teach.

Every child learns differently, so I adapt my approach — extra practice sheets for some, visual explanations for others, real-life examples to make abstract ideas stick. I also keep parents updated on progress so we're working together toward the same goal.
