About Jake
BA Psychology and Philosophy (2.i) from the University of Oxford. I have been tutoring philosophy essay questions for a year. In my undergraduate degree I studied Philosophical Logic, Knowledge and Reality (Epistemology and Metaphysics), Ethics, Kant, the Philosophy of Mind and the philosophy of Nietzsche and Heidegger.

My lessons are adaptive to the skill levels and ambitions of my students. We can read and discuss philosophical texts together, discuss pre-read texts, work on essays and essay technique or work on philosophical logic problems. Given the abstract nature of philosophy, my teaching method puts emphasis on clarity in expression and discussion of ideas.
