About Claudia

Hello! My name is Claudia and I am a native Spanish speaker from Peru currently living in Brisbane. I am passionate about languages, culture and helping people feel confident when communicating in Spanish.

I speak Spanish, English and Portuguese, which allows me to understand the challenges students face when learning a new language. Because I have learned languages myself, I know how important it is to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to practice and make mistakes.

I am a patient, friendly and responsible tutor who takes every lesson seriously. I always prepare my classes according to the student’s goals, whether they want to learn Spanish for travel, work, personal interest or conversation practice.

My goal is to make learning Spanish engaging, practical and enjoyable, while helping students build real confidence when speaking. I believe that with the right guidance and consistent practice, anyone can improve their Spanish and enjoy the process of learning a new language.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is friendly, practical and focused on real communication. As a native Spanish speaker from Peru, I help students learn the language in a natural way, focusing on how Spanish is actually spoken in real life.

In my classes I combine conversation, pronunciation practice, useful vocabulary and simple grammar explanations so students can feel confident speaking from the beginning. I like to adapt every lesson to the student’s goals. For example, some students want to learn Spanish for travel, others for work, or simply to communicate with Spanish-speaking friends.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but shorter or longer sessions can also be arranged depending on the student’s preference. During the class we usually practice conversation, learn new expressions and review important grammar in a relaxed and supportive environment.

I have experience helping people practice Spanish conversation and improve their confidence when speaking. I am patient, encouraging and enjoy helping students feel comfortable making mistakes, which is an important part of learning a new language.

My lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate students, travellers, professionals or anyone interested in learning Spanish and Latin American culture. Adults and young learners are welcome.
