About Emma
I’m a senior supply chain professional based in London, working in a role that involves numbers, data analysis and problem-solving every day. I’ve always enjoyed maths and particularly enjoy taking something complicated and finding a simple, logical way to explain it.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want students to feel comfortable saying when they don’t understand something — there’s never a silly question! My aim is to help students build confidence in maths, not just get the right answer.
I’m new to professional tutoring, but I bring years of experience coaching, mentoring and developing people in my career, including helping others learn new skills and approach problems with confidence.

My lessons are friendly, patient and tailored to the individual student. I know maths can feel overwhelming when something doesn’t immediately make sense, so I focus on breaking problems down into simple, manageable steps and finding different ways to explain a topic until it clicks.
I work with numbers, data and problem-solving every day in my professional career, so I love showing how maths can be approached logically rather than simply memorising answers.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and can focus on homework support, particular topics a student is struggling with, exam preparation or simply building confidence.
I offer lessons for KS2, KS3 and GCSE students and will adapt each session to the student’s level, learning style and goals.
