About Michael
Hi! I’m Michael, a college student currently taking Calculus 1. I tutor math for students in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and probability & statistics. I’ve scored a 32 on the ACT Math section, a 31 overall on the ACT, and a 740 on the SAT Math section, so I know what it takes to succeed on standardized tests and in your classes. My goal is to help students understand concepts clearly, build confidence, and improve their grades. I provide step-by-step explanations, homework support, and test prep, all tailored to your learning style.

In my lessons, I focus on helping students truly understand math concepts, not just memorize formulas. I tutor algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and probability & statistics. Lessons are step-by-step and tailored to each student’s learning style, with plenty of examples, practice problems, and homework support.
I also have experience with standardized tests, having scored 32 on the ACT Math section and 740 on the SAT Math section, so I can provide strategies for success on tests as well as in class. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve grades, and enjoy learning math.
