About Mitchell
I've been working with children and young people for 5 years developing their confidence and resilience through sports and art. After achieving an A* in A-level biology and As in Chemistry and Maths i'm looking at expanding into academic tutoring as i feel this is a natural progression in line with my skills

My style is focused on both understanding the content we're working with and the confidence to apply that understanding in unfamilliar contexts as may come up in exams. I've seen time and time again that with the right care and attention, one-to-one, that a young person can flourish in ways they never expected whilst in a classroom setting.
Our first session will be a free assessment session so i can get to know you and how you learn. We'll identify where you're struggling and why that might be and then form a realistic and flexible plan for filling in the gaps and developing your confidence through skills like active listening and interleaving.
Our further sessions are where we implement the plan and tweak it as we to to give you the best chance of achieving your goals!
