About John
I am fluent French speaker, have been tutoring French for over ten years and have had very good feedback from my students. I have a French degree and have lived and worked in Geneva, Luxembourg and the south of France.

All age groups and levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced; I have experience with a great variety of kinds of student. I feel it's best to have as much of the lesson in French as possible; I'll normally use English when explaining grammar points, of course, and for beginners, I will speak English for most of the lesson. I always make sure the student is involved in every part of the lesson, and will ask questions to confirm that you've understood things. It won't be a long lecture or monologue by me! We will spend time chatting in French about your favourite topics, and I can give corrections as we go.
