About Ben
My passion is for helping learners to achieve their life goals and develop a deep and enduring understanding of their chosen subject. I started out as an English teacher and so I understand how important it is to enhance literacy alongside subject-specific learning. I also studied for my master's degree whilst parenting young children, so I have the greatest respect for students who commit to further study beyond and outside school with a private tutor. My classes are specialised for A level students requiring exam success and those who plan to go on to study business or economics at university. Lessons are 55 minutes long and are fully interactive and supported with learning materials. My expectation is that students have done pre-reading or activities and come prepared to maximise their gains from our time together.
