About Maya
Hi! I’m a 16-year-old student based in the UK, currently waiting for my GCSE results (predicted all 8s and 9s), and I'm especially confident in Maths (hoping to go to a maths-based 6th form) and enjoy helping others understand it too — whether it's tricky homework questions or building up skills over time. I’d like to teach because I genuinely enjoy explaining things in a clear, simple way and helping others feel more confident in what they’re learning. I know what it’s like to feel stuck or unsure in class, and sometimes it just takes a different explanation to make it all click. Tutoring also gives me the chance to support younger students (especially KS2 and KS3), and it's something I'm passionate about doing alongside my own studies.

I’m here to help KS2 and KS3 students (years 3-9) with their Maths homework and revision. I can help with homework questions, catching up on tricky topics, understanding what the teacher’s asking and building confidence step-by-step. Sessions are usually 30–60 minutes (flexible to what works best!) and are online. Whether you’re stuck on a problem or just want regular help to stay on track, I’d be happy to support you!
