About Clara

I’m a native Korean speaker and lived in Korea my entire life until I moved to London for university in autumn 2022. Right now, I’m on a gap year and back in Korea, which means I’ve got plenty of time to focus on teaching you! I’m studying Biological Sciences, but I’ve got a wide range of interests — everything from music and books to pop culture and the latest trends. This mix helps me create lessons that are personalised, fun, and engaging, so you’ll always feel like you're learning in a way that fits you best. My goal is to make our lessons feel like just chatting with a friend, all while helping you gain confidence and fluency in Korean!

About the lesson

My lessons are all about making learning fun and enjoyable! As a native Korean speaker with fluent English, I focus on having natural conversations to help you improve your speaking and grammar skills in a laid-back, friendly way. Whether you want to chat casually, learn about Korean culture (old and new), or explore the latest slang and trends, I’ll make sure the lessons match your interests and goals. We can talk about anything — books, blogs, tweets, K-pop, dramas, or just everyday life in Korea! And if you want a bit more structure, we can also work on grammar, pronunciation, and reading. Lessons usually last about an hour, but if you need more or less time, that’s totally fine with me! I teach anyone who wants to improve their Korean, no matter your level or age. Whether you’re a beginner looking to build confidence or an advanced learner aiming to sound even more fluent, I’ll make sure the lessons feel fun, relaxed, and easy-going.
