About Tiffiny
My name is Tiffiny, and I hold a degree in mathematics. I was actually the Most Outstanding Math Graduate, so, yes, I was quite a nerd in school. Although I never pursued formal teaching, I have facilitated adult learning in 4 countries in business and IT and been a homeschool mom. I really try to make learning fun and think it's important that we maintain a good sense of humor and humility while we are growing our skills and abilities.

Although I have a degree in math, it was never my intention to become a teacher. I pursued business school and a career in consulting. However, I found myself in a position where I needed to homeschool my kiddo; again, nothing I ever anticipated doing. My son and I navigated homeschool in a non-traditional way, where we did our best to create a connection between leaning (math, especially) and our current or future lives.
I think that working together and experimenting with different methods that connect with an individual is the most fun.
I'm happy to tutor people of all ages in math, focusing on K-12 level math and ACT math prep. I'm super flexible in my approach, in that I can prep lessons, adapt current lessons, help with homework, etc.
